Dr. Q’s specialty fertilizers consist entirely of homogeneous, organic-based granules. All primary nutrients (N-K-P) and micronutrients (Iron, Zinc, Manganese, Calcium, etc) are found in each and every granule. While many manufacturers are changing to the homogeneous pellets, many still manufacture and market blended products. Individual Dr. Q’s fertilizers are formulated to provide the best possible nutrient package for the class of plants listed. The line is conveniently packaged and color marked. If someone is looking for a “flower food” or a “vegetable food”, it is easily found. In several cases, one fertilizer will be quite sufficient for plants other than those listed on the bag, i.e., Flower Food, Rose Food and Vegetable Food can be used interchangeably. Fruit & Nut Tree Food and Citrus Food are very similar, but there is extra zinc in the Fruit Tree food to retard excessive fruit drop.
